Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ManageLife, including our website at www.managelife.app and the app at live.managelife.app (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

ManageLife helps you organize your household: tasks, schedules, contacts, family members, and records. Some features are optional and connect to third-party services such as Google, as described in our Privacy Policy.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity under your account.
• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Tell us promptly at support@managelife.app if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you add to the Service, such as tasks, contacts, records, and notes. You give us a limited permission to store, process, and display that content only as needed to operate and provide the Service to you and to the people you choose to share it with.

You are responsible for your content and for having the right to add it, including information about other people, such as family members or contacts. When you add information about a child, you confirm that you are that child's parent or legal guardian or have their permission.

4. Google and other third-party services

If you connect your Google account, your use of Google's services is also governed by Google's terms and policies. You can disconnect Google at any time from your Google Account permissions page. How we handle data from Google is described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for third-party services or their availability.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent;
• add content that infringes others' rights or that you have no right to share;
• attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours;
• interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service, or probe it for vulnerabilities without our permission; or
• copy, reverse engineer, or scrape the Service except as the law allows.

6. AI features

The Smart Task Assistant generates suggestions automatically. Suggestions can be incomplete or wrong and are not professional, legal, financial, medical, or safety advice. Use your own judgment before acting on them.

7. Changes to the Service

We may add, change, or remove features, and some features may be labeled as early or experimental. We may suspend or discontinue the Service, and will try to give reasonable notice of changes that significantly affect you.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or if needed to protect the Service or other users.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reminders and alerts will always be delivered. Do not rely on the Service as your only record of important information.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, ManageLife will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $50.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
